Welcome to Fire Tried Kettle Corn Co.—where fun, flavor, and heart all come together!

Our mission is simple: “To have fun while going the extra mile making the best kettle corn on the planet!”

I’m Maryann Sanderlin, and I started Fire Tried because I’ve always loved two things—kettle corn and having a great time. From amusement parks to football games, I’ve always found joy in the energy, the people, and the excitement. Fire Tried Kettle Corn Co. was born out of that passion, and today, we get to share it with thousands of guests each season.

What makes us unique is more than just our kettle corn—it’s our name and our heart. Fire Tried means being forged and changed by the fire, just like kettle corn itself. It’s about resilience, transformation, and bringing out the best in every experience. That spirit runs through everything we do.

About Us

We’re proud to serve at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA, and William & Mary football games, along with community events throughout the year. With three locations at Busch Gardens and two at Water Country, we’re always ready to share fresh kettle corn and cotton candy with friends, families, and fans. And soon—we’ll be opening our very own brick-and-mortar store so you can enjoy Fire Tried all year round!

Most importantly, none of this would be possible without our amazing team. We’re more than coworkers—we’re family. With a heart for service and a love for working together, we aim to make every bag of kettle corn more than just a snack—it’s a memory.

So whether you’re strolling through the park, cheering at a football game, or visiting us at an event, we invite you to stop by, say hi, and taste the best kettle corn on the planet.
